The Legacy Home Lexington is designed for 5 women, of modest incomes, 55 years and older, to live together so that they may share rent and other expenses to minimize the cost of growing older.  It is an opportunity to stay in community and it is a wonderful new alternative to large apartment buildings or living alone.

This beautifully remodeled 2500 sq. ft home has 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a sunroom with access to a deck, a living room, a huge fully equipped kitchen, laundry with new appliances, a library office, a spacious backyard with room for relaxation and gardening, and off-street parking. Community rooms are furnished with new furniture. Residents will furnish their personal bedrooms. Services such as meals, transportation, or health care are not provided. 

Rent is $425.00 per month inclusive of utilities, local phone and basic cable..

The basic requirements for application are:
*An annual income that does not exceed $ 22,350 for 2013/2014.
*Demonstrate the ability to pay rent and authorize income verification
*Pose no threat to the well-being, health, safety or security of herself or other residents.
*Agree that The Legacy Home and grounds is for non-smokers only.
*Agree to abide by the terms of the lease.
*Be able and willing to share space with others.
*Be able and willing to care of her room and do daily tasks to maintain the common areas of the house.
